The Architecture

  1. Aqara Hubs: These act as the primary brains of the operation, communicating with a wide range of devices via Zigbee and Wi-Fi and bringing them into the unified Aqara ecosystem. It connects native Aqara Zigbee devices, like light strip controllers, downlights, smart sensors, motorized blind/curtain system, etc.

  2. Dynamic and Precise Lighting: The lighting can be precisely tailored to any need, thanks to specialized Aqara controllers.
    • Aqara Dual Colour Temperature Driver T2 (15W or 24W): Connected to individual downlights, these drivers allow for granular control over both brightness and color temperature, from a warm, inviting glow to a cool, focused white.
    • Aqara Smart Lightstrip DC Controller: The controller powers various COB (Chip-on-Board) and RGB light strips, enabling dynamic branding, accent lighting, or mood-setting in lobbies, conference rooms, and collaboration zones.
    • Lighting Devices: We can use various lighting devices such as Tri-tone Dimmable Downlight, Tri-tone LED Lightstrip, RGB LED Lightstrip, etc, depending on the concept and design of the space.
  3. Intelligent Human Presence Detection: The Aqara Presence Sensor FP2 elevates the system from smart to truly intelligent. This Wi-Fi-connected sensor can detect human presence within defined zones. This allows for sophisticated automation routines perfect for an office, such as:

    • If presence is detected in a meeting room, then the lights automatically turn on to a preset presentation level.

    • If a common area is empty, then the lights automatically dim or turn off to significantly conserve energy.

  4. Beyond Lighting: Total Ambiance Control: The integration extends to other key environmental elements.

    • Aqara Roller Shade Controller: This module allows for the central control of motorized blinds, enabling effortless adjustment of natural light to reduce glare or improve privacy with a single command.

    • Aqara H1 Smart Wall Switches: A comprehensive layout of physical smart switches provides familiar, tactile control points that are fully integrated into the smart system, allowing for manual overrides that don't disrupt the system's logic.
