* Up to 128 Aqara Zigbee child devices can be connected to the hub (repeater devices such as Smart Plug and Wall Switch (with Neutral) are required). ** No BLE child devices are available at this time but they will be coming soon.  *** The Aqara Hub M2 is not a Wi-Fi router. A dedicated Wi-Fi router is required to connect it to other supported Wi-Fi devices.

Each Aqara sensor has a 2+ year battery life and can be also used in automations.

Maximum number of Zigbee devices

The maximum number is 128. This will include at least 8 devices such as the Aqara Smart Plug or Aqara Smart Wall Switch (With Neutral) being used as repeaters. Without using repeater devices, the maximum number of connected sub-devices is 32.
