The Aqara Dual Relay Module T2 utilizes Zigbee technology to manage power, controlling the on and off functions of various devices. It can manage a range of devices including motors, roller blinds, lights, switches, garage doors, and sockets in two modes: dry contact and wet contact. With an Aqara hub, features such as app-based remote control, timing control, and power consumption statistics can be implemented.
Automatic control of roller blinds, curtain motors, garage doors, awnings, gates, electric sliding doors, pool covers, and two-way AC motors is now possible. By repurposing existing equipment in your home, you can seamlessly achieve enhanced vitality and intelligence. The retrofitting of old equipment no longer needs to be a costly and time-consuming process. Modernizing traditional equipment can pave the way to a new smart living experience.

After connecting to an Aqara hub, the T2 offers compatibility with various platforms, including HomeKit, Alexa, Google Home, IFTTT, and Matter. It allows traditional devices to become smart and seamlessly integrates them with multiple third-party systems. Forget about the limitations of different protocols and platforms and enjoy a seamless and harmonious smart home experience.

The T2 supports dual modes of dry contact and wet contact. In dry contact mode, the open and close pulse signal or the on-off signal can be selected to control motors, garage doors, rolling gates and other equipment. In wet contact mode, intelligent light control can be easily utilized without replacing your original equipment. By disconnecting a red jumper wire, the T2 can be switched from Wet Contact to Dry Contact Mode, which allows you to integrate a variety of devices.
Easily turn an existing wall switch into a wireless scene controller that doesn't need to change the batteries. For example, an arm button for your security system or a wired doorbell. Alternatively, you can connect one or two binary sensors*, and use the T2 in automations.

The T2 supports overheat and overload protection, which can eliminate the high current shock when the electrical equipment is instantly powered on, thereby ensuring the reliability and longevity of the equipment. When the equipment temperature is abnormal, or the power exceeds 2500W, the device automatically powers off to ensure electrical safety.*
The T2 comes equipped with a power off memory, which enables the device to remember its last state, in order not to turn the light on suddenly at night in case of a power cut.
T2 also features an electricity consumption monitoring function, which duplicate themselves, which enables an easy reset of the device automation, thus easing concerns regarding sudden power cuts or device resets.
The small size* T2 can be installed near light, behind switch or wall outlet and it also includes a DIN rail energy monitor**. Moreover, it is also compatible with both AC and DC power, This feature offers versatility, allowing users to install the device different settings and power sources.
*A wall box with a depth of about 60 mm is recommended. In case the existing wall box is not deep enough, you can try to use a Wireless Remote Switch H1, or a surface-mounted or ultra-thin wall switch to control the Relay.
**The Relay T2 is not a circuit breaker, and its maximum current of 10A does not allow it to control a big part of household circuits.
1. Garage Door Controllers*/Arm Barriers other devices controllable by dry contacts: the relay is controlling the existing motor using the wall button contacts (COM+OP/CS/O/S/C)
2. Arm Barriers etc. Other devices controllable by dry contacts can be wired similarly to a garage door controller
3. Boilers: in this case, the relay is used as a thermostat for boilers. For example, it can switch the boiler off in case nobody is detected at home.
4. Make an Existing Appliance Smart: the dry contact can "press" the button of an existing appliance, such as a coffee machine, air freshener etc.
1. Smart Outlet: the load is connected directly to the relay. The relay acts as a simple on/off switch.
2. Electric Floor Heating: similar to 1, but now the relay acts as a thermostat. Configuring the automations with a temperature sensor is suggested.
3. Smart Light Switch: in this case, the relay can be installed behind the existing wall switch, that controls light(s), fan(s) etc. 2-way (3-way) switching: you can also connect two or more switches in multi-way configuration, and all of them will be able to control the lights connected to the Relay T2.
4. Smart Roller Shade Switch: The relay can be installed behind the existing Roller Shade Switch and control the existing non-smart roller shade motor.
The relay can also be used as a wireless switch that does not require replacing the batteries. (the Convert to Wireless Switch setting should be enabled in the app) 1. Connect an existing wired 1-2-channel wall switch and use it as a wireless switch 2. Alternatively, you can connect one or two binary sensors* instead, and use the relay in automations
