It’s the first battery-powered video doorbell to integrate seamlessly with Apple’s HomeKit Secure Video and supports streaming to Google and Alexa, featuring local AI used for facial recognition alerts, automations, and much more.

The built-in AI-based face recognition algorithms will let you mark the faces of your family members and frequent visitor in Aqara Home app, reduce false alerts and notification, and even configure automatic replies or trigger smart home automations, that will work even if the internet connection is down.
As a truly battery-powered video doorbell, everything is encrypted before it’s stored in iCloud for enhanced security. Video analysis and notifications could happen on all your Apple devices, such as iPad, iPhone, Apple TV*. For Google and Alexa users, it also supports local streaming to Nest and Echo smart displays**. And, the G4 is planned to receive Matter support via an OTA update.
* To control this HomeKit-enabled accessory, the latest version of IOS or iPadOS is recommended ** iCloud or other supported third-party cloud storage is not included, and should be controlled separately via the respecting app *** To support Google Home and Amazon Alexa, a compatible smart speaker is required
The G4 offers a free cloud storage of up to 7 days: short event-based clips will be sent to the cloud immediately and without hidden fees, which is equivalent to save up to $60 per year on subscription fees*. Additionally, the indoor chime provides the local MicroSD card (not included) storage option, which is safer and more convenient. In the future, we also plan to launch NAS storage to provide more options for our users.

Thanks to the 162° wide-angle field of view, a crisp 1080p sensor and infrared night vision, you will view it clearly no matter at day or at night. You can check out and respond to it through two-way audio anytime and anywhere.
Thanks to its IP rating, the G4 is safe to be installed on the porch. It will resist almost any condition: direct sunlight during the hot sunny days, long winters and even rainy days*.
Various scenarios have been considered for you. You can choose from 6-battery pack for using up to 4 months*, or wire it to a transformer**, and the batteries will only be used in case of power outage!
* The calculation assumes 35 device wake-ups and 6-second event video recording a day ** The external power supply of 12V-24V AC or 8V-24V DC is required
The unique Chime-Repeater is equipped with a loud 95 dB speaker and USB-C port for more flexible placement. Apart from that, it can even be powered from a powerbank or mini-UPS for battery backup*.

To better protect privacy, it is supported to change the voice of the intercom audio to uncle voice, robot voice, and clown voice.
Face, loitering, and tamper alerts are supported. You will get notified, sound a loud siren or even play a pre-recorded message in case any of these events are detected.
Ringtones are customizable for both outdoor unit and indoor repeater, and they can be used as a part of automations.
Up to 3 designated areas in the screen can be set for privacy protection of neighbors. This function is fully considered for users living in apartment buildings.
Together with the Aqara Zigbee hubs, the G4 will become not only a security camera that will record what is happening on your porch, but also a loud 95 dB siren that will alarm in case a break in, vibration, water leak or other events are detected.
Smart home control has become tailored: if you enter your home, only devices you need will be controlled automatically. Also, you will be able to configure different actions that will be triggered in case your family member, dog walker or any other particular person is detected.
The Aqara Video Doorbell G4 offers seamless integration with Aqara Smart Locks. When someone rings the doorbell, you can view who's at your door and unlock your Aqara smart lock with a tap, providing convenience and security at your fingertips.
The Aqara G4 has an IPX3 waterproof rating, meaning it can withstand rain and light sprays of water.
However, for prolonged outdoor use, the weatherproof case is recommended to further protect the doorbell.
No, the Aqara Video Doorbell G4 is equipped with built-in Wi-Fi, and you can add it directly to Aqara mobile app or HomeKit. Therefore, you don’t need to have a hub to use the Aqara Video Doorbell G4.
To fully integrate the Aqara G4 Video Doorbell into a comprehensive smart home system, including features like automations, and remote unlocking of a compatible smart lock, you will need to add an Aqara Hub. While the doorbell can function independently, pairing it with an Aqara Hub enables seamless connectivity with other smart home devices and enhances your overall smart home experience.
