Required an Aqara Hub?

No, the Aqara smart lock operates offline without the need for a hub. By using a direct Bluetooth connection between your phone (Aqara Home App) and the lock, you can set up and manage the lock through the app, including adding users, NFC cards, fingerprints, generating one-time passcodes, and deleting users

However, adding an Aqara Hub allows you to enjoy additional features such as Remote unlock, Remote status check, Creating automations (e.g., unlock the door lock and turn on a light if it is dark), Periodic passcode issuance, Receiving notifications, and Integrating with Google Home and Google Assistant for voice control.

The U100 prioritizes security and complies with the same safety standard as BHMA Level 3 for structural security. Your data is safeguarded by end-to-end encryption, utilizing a secure 128-bit AES algorithm. Moreover, sensitive data such as fingerprints are stored locally, ensuring that they cannot be accessed by unauthorized individuals and providing an additional layer of security.

Set the U100 for Ease of Use

The U100 features a built-in gyroscope for lock status detection, and it doesn't require installing any additional sensors to realize the Auto Locking and Door not Locked functionality* Besides, considerate Do Not Disturb and Passage Modes are supported for family and office use cases.

Don't panic. The U100 provides you with additional ways to access your door during emergency situations. In addition to low battery alarm, you can use physical keys or the USB-C emergency port at the outer panel, ensuring that you always have a backup plan to enter your home.

Thanks to the energy-efficient Zigbee protocol, the U100 has a long battery life that lasts up to 8 months* and its AA batteries can be easily replaced.

The outer panel of U100 is IP65 rated, and the operating temperature range is -31°F~150°F, providing you stable service in spite of the weather.

The Aqara U100 is seamlessly integrated with the Aqara Video Doorbell G4: when someone presses the doorbell, you will be able to view who is at your porch and easily unlock the Aqara U100 in case it is needed.

Auto-Lock with Gyroscope Sensor

The Aqara U50 features advanced gyroscope sensor technology to automatically detect the door's status and engage the auto-lock function. Unlike traditional deadbolt smart locks that rely on separate magnetic sensors on the door and frame to detect closure, the U50 offers a more streamlined and integrated solution.

Easy Installations

The Aqara U100 is suitable for wooden doors with a thickness of 35mm - 55mm. It perfectly replaces the existing deadbolt and transforms it into a smart lock.
The Aqara U100 is a handle-less smart lock, so you will need a handle to open and close the door.
